Blog #15: A song that moved me

 The song that moved me is called Strawberries & Cigarettes. My first time listening to this song was in 2020 on a video, but at that time, I heard the version in Chinese. I thought the melody was good, and with the addition of video content, I felt very tempted. When I was watching the comments, I saw that this song's original name was Strawberries & Cigarettes rather than Strawberry Smoke. So my curiosity ignited, and I searched for the original song. I found that the melody, style, and lyrics of the original song and cover are completely different from each other. The original song expresses love very straightforwardly, while the cover is a feeling of secret love. Then, I started listening to the original song "Strawberries & Cigarettes". At first, I thought the melody of this song was very pleasant, with a feeling of heart beating, just like the mood in your heart when you like someone. Then there were the lyrics and the straightforward confession that can feel the strong love for someone you love. I have two favorite lyrics in this song which are "Still strawberries and cigarettes always taste like you" and "You always leave me wanting more, I can't shake my hunger for…". When I listen to this song, I always feel pink bubbles around me!
