Banff is a small town surrounded by lots of mountains and lakes. This summer was my first time in Banff, and also it is my first time being in Canada. On the first day, we had pho noodles for lunch. Then we went to a Chinese market to buy groceries that we might need for the next 4 days in Banff. After buying the groceries, we saw a boba milk tea that it does not have in Chicago. So we bought some milk tea and then went to our stay. It took almost an hour to get there. Although it was cloudy that day, the view of the road was very beautiful. I haven't seen a lot of mountains for a long time. The stay looks like a small neighborhood because it is an ensemble of apartments, so you can cook there. The cool thing is that they have a public Jacuzzi. On the second day, we woke up very early to see the sunrise. We went to Lake Louis to see the sunrise because we saw it on social media, and it said that the combination of snow mountain and sunrise is fantastic. We waited for almost 2 hours and finally, the sun started working. I can promise that social media is lying. It was more than just beautiful, I cannot even find the adjectives to describe how I felt when I saw that amazing thing, the combination of the lake, the mountain, and the sunrise. I really hate that I did not have a camera because it is not the same as taking photos with a phone and a camera. All the pictures I took did not show how wonderful it was. After watching and taking a lot of pictures of the sunrise. Our energy was gone, the only thing we wanted was sleep, so we decided to go back to our stay to sleep a little bit. After sleeping for around 2 hours, we woke up for our next station, Sulphur Mountain Tail. We took almost 4 hours to get to the top of the mountain, we were all tired of clamping because all of us were not regular exercisers. After we ate lunch on the top, my cousin was tired already, so her friend and I decided to walk to the Sulphur Mountain Cosmic Ray Station. I was feeling nervous because I was afraid of the height and a lot of places were without railings, but I still arrived at the destination. Unfortunately, there were a lot of people, so we just rushed to take a few photos of the view and left. We took a gondola to the bottom of the mountain. Unbelievable that we took 4 hours to get to the top but only 15 minutes to the bottom, but worth it. The day after we went to the Ice Mountain Athabasca Glacier. Snow is like covering the mountain with a quilt, they quietly merge together without any sense of disobedience. Unfortunately, this view would probably disappear a few years later because of global warming. Then, we went to the Ice Field Skywalk place which had an arch shape, even though I knew that it was safe, I still felt scared of the high. While we are driving back to Banff downtown, we go to many lakes. I love water places, the most important thing is all the Banff lakes were extremely beautiful and clear. The first lake we went to was on the other side of Lake Louis. The water looks like a mirror that can reflect the mountains. Next, we went to Lake Peyto Lake, people say that it has the shape of a wolf, but I think it looks more like a fox, a Tiffany blue fox. The water is blameless blue like a fake, but it is real. All this together is like a beautiful artistic painting picture. Finally, the Banff trip was the best of this year, I think if I could, I would go there every year because I still have many places to explore. I really recommend if you like nature and water places, you should visit Banff. Everything in Banff is spectacular.
